Welcome to Second Grade 2

This month we will be working on:

Religion:  We will be learning how God  sent us the Holy Spirit .

Math: The children will working on addition and subtraction of three digit number and regrouping.

Reading:  We are working on phonics, decoding, comprehension and oral reading.  The new story is "A Curve in the River" and will spend the rest of the year reviewing .

Spelling:  There is a weekly spelling test with the story we are reading.

Handwriting:  We are finishing up and will be writing all work in  cursive writing.

Science:  We are studying space and earth .

Our special projects for this month will be about Mother's Day and summer fun.
