The Junior High has been working very hard in English.  We are getting used to the outstanding new English series.  The students really seem to enjoy all the components to it i.e. song CD's, graphic organizers, and overhead transparies.  We are currently revising The American Dream: What is it? essays.  The 8th grade will have a Unit on Writing a Research Paper.  It will cover a Social Studies topic.  Please encourage your child to study and review nightly.
